We are very proud to announce that bassist Doug Grey has joined the band!
As many of you know we had been playing bass less forever.
Allow me to correct myself:
Actually, we were very lucky to have bassist Jason Fellito around when we recorded our demo 3 years ago.
He also played with us whenever he was available but due to his busy schedule he ended up not having the time to be the band’s official bassist.
We have always been very grateful to him and we would like to wish him nothing but the best. Good luck, Jason! Keep in touch (from Europe ?:)
Doug Grey’s first jam with *silencio* took place last in July 2007.
We played our first gig with him last week, 9/6/07 at Bill’s Bar in Boston .
Due to his song learning capabilities it was quite obvious he was a perfect fit into this now 5-piece arsenal. Welcome aboard, Doug!
The recording of our full-length album took longer than expected (we started in April, remember?) but it feels great to say that the Cd's will be in our hands by October 20Th!
We’ll keep you posted about the Cd Release Party that will probably be booked by November.

Yes! We are still around! I know you haven't heard from us in a while but WE'RE BACK!!!
We took some time off to work on new songs for our album, which is coming out in late July. We are still hard at work to meet the deadline.
We'll be having our CD Release Party in the first or second week in August. We'll keep you posted.
In case you guys have tried to access our myspace page only to find there's nothing there...our myspace was hacked and we're still trying to figure it out. Feel free to add us to your myspace if you have one. For those of you who don't have one, sign up, it's easy.
Sorry that it took so long to get back to you guys, but here's some good news from *silencio*:
We'll be recording our full-length CD in April at the New Alliance studios http://www.newallianceaudio.com/ in Cambridge.
Needless to say we're very excited about it and a kick ass CD release party is being planned for the summer.
Due to a lack of available bassists in town our guitarists will be recording the bass lines. Speaking of which, drop us a line if you know anyone interested in joining us, please.
There will be some shows in May so check out the "Gig" - section time after time for new-added dates and please, bare with us as the site is being updated little by little by Ricardo Pancini - http://www.pancini.com.br (thank you, Ricardo!).

As some of you might (or might not) know, she started helping us out last year as our band manager but because she was doing it voluntarily, she had to leave such well paid position with the band to dedicate herself to her real job for obvious reasons :(
Besides the HUGE support as a # 1 fan, she has also found the time in her already busy schedule to help us as our manager spending an incredible number of hours dealing with booking agents, record labels; creating our myspace page; networking, calling everybody to come to check us out...in short, playing such an important role in the band.
We're all very, very f&^% thank full for your precious help Tatiane! As soon as you get less busier, get in touch! The doors are open! Fu&% yeah!
